4. Bidder Connection Information
- Logged in as Bidder: Identifies the paddle number used to log into
the auction
- If the PC loses the connection to the Internet, the system will
automatically attempt to re-connect. If re-connection cannot be
accomplished automatically, the user should close the ‘Bidder Display’
by clicking on the ‘X’ in the upper right corner of the bidder
display. This will re-generate the ‘Attend Auction’ display. The user
then clicks the ‘Attend Auction’ words and the system will attempt to
re-connect. If this does not work, the user should close all Internet
windows and attempt to re-connect to the Internet via normal browser
activation (e.g., clicking on the IE logo to activate Internet
Explorer. If an Internet connection cannot be made, there is a problem
with the user’s Internet Service Provider.
- Status: Identifies connection status (‘Not Connected’ or
‘Connected’). ‘Connected’ status means that the user is connected to
the auction and is able to perform bidding functions.
Currency: Identifies the currency for the auction (‘USD’ = US
Dollars)
