WebCast Auction Quick Help
There are a couple of items to check before calling for technical
support or while waiting for a return call.

Are you running Internet
Explorer?
While the auction software works in most browsers it is best
to use IE to help reduce your time on the phone with technical
support. |

I receive an "AMSORM.ca10"
or similar message when I click to attend
This happens when the software did not completely
install. On the same page that you clicked on attend MPC
Computer, at the bottom is a link "**
If you are having trouble download the newest version now!
" or you can click from this page. This will start AC.EXE and
install the software. Select the "RUN" option and "allow" (if
using vista). Once this finishes (do not change defaults, just
press "next or finish" when prompted. Once finished
you can
go back and click on the auction_name link. |

VISTA USERS
"I click attend, a box flashes and then disappears" --
with the different versions, items may have slightly different names
(as noted in the parenthesis)
- Click on Start
- Click on Computer (My Computer)
- Click on Hard Drive C (local drive c)
- Click on Program Files (some versions have program files x86)
- Click on Auction Client
- RIGHT click on RINGSTART (ringstart.exe)
- Click the PROPERTIES option at the bottom of the dialog window
that opens
- Click the COMPATIBILITY tab at the top of the dialog window that
was opened
- Check the box that says "RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR"
- Click apply
- Close
Once finished go back and click on the auction_name link.
